At Kristina Ellingsen Personal Styling, I believe beauty is not simply about what we wear. It is also reflected in how we care for others, how we use our gifts, and how we bring compassion into the world.

My work is centered on helping women feel seen, confident, and valued. That same belief guides another deeply personal part of my life: rescuing and supporting senior and special-needs dogs.

These animals are often overlooked because of their age, medical needs, physical differences, or difficult pasts. Yet they are among the most loving, resilient, and deserving souls. They may require more patience, specialized care, rehabilitation, or time to trust again—but they are no less worthy of safety, dignity, and a home of their own.

My Mission

My mission is to use a portion of the proceeds from my styling business to support senior and special-needs dog rescue efforts.

This support may help provide veterinary treatment, rehabilitation, mobility assistance, food, supplies, foster care, transportation, and help finding loving permanent homes.

Every styling experience becomes part of something greater: helping a woman step forward with renewed confidence while helping a deserving animal receive a second chance.

Why This Matters to Me

Rescue has been part of my life for many years. I have had the privilege of caring for animals who were abandoned, abused, medically fragile, elderly, or considered difficult to place.

Each one has taught me something about courage, trust, forgiveness, and unconditional love.

Senior and special-needs dogs do not ask for perfection. They ask for patience, kindness, comfort, and the opportunity to feel safe. Watching a frightened animal begin to trust, a disabled dog rediscover independence, or an overlooked senior finally settle into a loving home is a reminder that every life has value.

This mission is not separate from my business. It is part of the heart behind it.
